
After a disappointing season (5th place in regular season) in the Turkish League (SMS Grup Efeler Ligi) and a defeat today in the playoff match for 5th–8th place against ON Hotels Alanya Bld, Turkish volleyball giant Halkbank SK has officially announced the departure of head coach Igor Kolakovic.
The club confirmed the mutual decision in a statement:
“At the beginning of the season, Igor Kolakovic took over the role of head coach of our team. We have now mutually agreed to part ways.”
