Following the recent departure of Igor Kolakovic, Halkbank SK has swiftly confirmed its new head coach: Radostin Stoychev.

This marks the Bulgarian coach’s second tenure with the Turkish volleyball powerhouse. Stoychev, born in 1969, previously led the team in the 2013–2014 season, guiding them to both the national league and cup titles. Under his leadership, Halkbank also made history by reaching the CEV Champions League final — a first and only for a Turkish men’s club.
Stoychev, who last coached Verona in Italy, expressed his excitement about returning to Ankara, citing his unwavering drive for success as the main motivation.
