Turkish volleyball powerhouse THY quietly confirmed several staff changes as it looks ahead to the 2025/2026 season. Four members of the team’s coaching and management staff will be moving on: head coach Kamil Soz, assistant Hasan Celik, fitness coach Serhat Turkoglu, and manager Ebru Algur.
The club shared simple farewell messages on social media, thanking each person for their work and wishing them success in their next steps.
Reports suggest that Saim Pakkan, formerly an assistant coach at Vakifbank for ten years, is expected to step into the head coach role. He may be joined by Ilker Altan, who also left Vakifbank this week.
After finishing sixth in the Turkish league this past season—down from fourth the year before—THY seems ready for a fresh start with new leadership.
