In very interesting text on the Turkish volleyball website, the reporter who is in Trieste on the World Championship 2014, has written an very emotional article about Tijana Bošković, 17-year-old Serbian opposite.

Tijana Boskovic

Tijana

In that text the reporter has explained that he regrets because Tijana ,as a 15-year-old player, went to Serbia and took the Serbian citizenship.

According to him, in the company of her dad and older sister, Tijana came to negotiations with Galatasaray Daikin, and everything was arranged… But, at the end she has changed her mind and went to Serbia to play for Vizura.

He said that when he saw how she has played the first three matches at the World Championship, he, Galatasaray and the whole Turkey are crying for her.

We must say that Tijana is the biggest surprise in this competition and she’s definitely a future world star.

Im confused. Was she born in Turkey? or Serbia?

I was mad because Sanja and Ana Bejlic did not make, but now watching Tijana makes more sense. And I can`t believe Brakocevic is on the bench. But Im sure this is some strategy. Maybe save Brakocevic for the 2nd round round? Or Tijana just took her place?

She was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and played for its national team in the Balkan Championships.
And I’m also made because of Sanja and Ana (both can play as receivers) but Tijana is good…I just think that Terzic doesn’t need Nadja and Malesevic…..

She could decide where to continue her career after coming from Bosnia. She could gave come to Turkey, play for some club (Galatasaray) and adter a few years take Turkish passport and play like Turkish.

Brakocevic is on the bench becuse she deserves to be there! And because this young girl deserves to play. And Brakocevic can continue to think about her new husband, vacations and photo shootings for NIKE!!!

Axe pricas gluposti.

Oh no. She does not deserve that. Remember she was injured and could not play in the GP. She is one of the best players in world.
