VakifBank İstanbul have only partial performance at the start of the new season. They beat great rivals Eczacıbaşı Vitra İstanbul at the national championship premiere, but previously suffered defeat in the Supercup finals against Fenerbahçe Grunding İstanbul.
Vakif played both games without American receiver Kimberly Hill, who came this summer from Italian Igor Gorgonzola Novara. The outside hitter/receiver remained in her home country as she didn’t recover from minor injury.
From now on, Vakif can count on her as she arrived to İstanbul and posed with the club jersey at the airport.
