Eczacibasi
This is becoming a tradition! Whenever teams from the Turkish “Big Three” face each other, there are five sets! Eczacibasi VitrA and Fenerbahce Grundig played a thrilling game in the 18th round of the Turkish Championship, while at the end the reigning European champions downed the reigning Turkish champions!
The top scorer in the winning side was Tijana Bošković with 17 points. She started the game at the bench, while head coach Caprara used her as a substitution both in the first and in the second set. When the Italian expert saw that this might be the day of the Serbian opposite, he decided to put her into the starting lineup in the third set… It was a great call! Bošković has remained on the court until the end of the game and helped Eczacibasi win this big derby.
On the other side, Kim Yeon-Koung made 25 points for Fenerbahce Grundig.
