USA Volleyball has unveiled Erik Sullivan as the new head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team. Known for his tactical acumen and success at the collegiate level, Sullivan takes the reins from Karch Kiraly, who led the team to multiple Olympic medals and a world title.

Sullivan’s impressive resume includes 14 years as associate head coach at the University of Texas, where he contributed to three national championships and eight NCAA Final Four appearances. His experience extends to the international stage, as a two-time Olympian and former player in top professional leagues.

With just months until the 2025 Volleyball Nations League begins in Rio de Janeiro, Sullivan is ready to build on the team’s strong foundation. Looking ahead to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, he aims to foster growth and success for the next generation of athletes while upholding the team’s legacy of excellence.
