In Thursday’s first semifinal, Loyola swept UC Irvine, 25-22, 25-19, 25-17.

While people were still digesting that result, Lewis came out and defeated Penn State, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Saturday’s final (6:30 p.m. PT) will be the first ever without a West Coast representative.
