USA vs. Serbia
There are only three teams with all six wins after the second Grand Prix Weekend. Brazil, China and… USA! The reigning world champions managed to outplay Serbia in a true volleyball thriller.
Simply, girls led by Karch Kiraly were better in the most important moments. That includes the third set as well, in which USA needed to score 30 points to win a set! The top scorer in the winning side was Karsta Lowe with 19 points. On the other side, young volleyball star Tijana Bošković led Serbia with 12 points.
At the same time, Thailand and Belgium player their match, but it was far less exciting. With Onuma Sittirak (22 points) and Wilavan Apinyapong (20 points) on fire, Thailand scored its third win in the Grand Prix 2015 – 3-1 (25:11, 25:23, 22:25, 25:14).
