Baku, Azerbaijan, December 18, 2011. Rabita BAKU is working hard for the upcoming match whereby the 2011 club world champions will try to get revenge for the straight-set defeat they suffered to Turkey’s Fenerbahce Universal ISTANBUL this past Thursday.

Although a few days ago they did not deliver the performance that their head coach Zoran Gajic was hoping for, the Azeri heroines still have got the chance to finish on top of the standings in Pool B provided that they score a positive result this coming Tuesday at “Sarhadchi Sports Complex” in Azerbaijan’s capital city.

The home advantage and the always passionate local fans shall help Rabita turn the odds around as they play once again the strong side mentored by Brazilian head coach Zé Roberto. After they started their Champions League campaign by edging ASPTT MULHOUSE of France and DRESDNER SC of Germany, Rabita BAKU and Fenerbahce were supposed to battle for the final leadership in the group via this double header that comes right before the traditional break due to the Christmas holidays.

We did not show our potential last week in Istanbul” says Serbian-born mentor Zoran Gajic. “That match turned into a major disappointment but we have to clean up our minds and our only aim for the moment is to deliver a good performance whereby we can be satisfied with”.

We want to give our best for the upcoming match after we failed last week that first demanding test in Istanbul” adds Croatian star Natasa Osmokrovic.
