Meet your instructor

Jiri Popelka

Jiri Popelka is a volleyball coach and former national team player of the Czech Republic. During his career, he played more than 180 games for the Czech national team and professional leagues in 10 countries worldwide.

For 4 years, he was the manager of the men’s and women’s volleyball teams of the Czech Republic. Nowadays, he is a coach of youth volleyball players. Moreover, he founded the club School of Volleyball, and the club is organizing the high school and college volleyball leagues in the country.

Coaches like Gianpaolo Medei, Vital Heynen, Lorain Tillie, Julio Velasco, Vladimir Alekno, and Anders Kristiansson were among those he worked with.
