GER M: VfB Friedrichshafen down BR Volleys in Game 1 of the 2016/17 Finals

VfB Friedrichshafen defeated BR Volleys in Game 1 of the 2016/17 German Championship Finals, so coach Vital Heynen and his boys are now just one win away from winning the precious title!

This match was completely one-sided. VfB Friedrichshafen made a powerful opening by winning the 1st set – 25:13. The 2nd set was very close, still the home team prevailed at the end – 27:25. Finally, VfB Friedrichshafen finished the job by taking the 3rd set – 25:21.

Tomas Rousseaux was the top scorer in the winning team with 12 points.

Whoever wins 2 games in the 2016/17 Finals will become the champion of Germany.

Game 2 is scheduled for May 3.

Recall that BR Volleys are defending the crown in Germany.
