The 2018/19 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship playoffs quarterfinalists Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio closed the market for the 2019/20 season with the hiring of a Chinese player.

A 21-year-old libero Wang Simin, who has been China national team member a few years back, reinforced Busto for the next season. The last club for which the Chinese player competed before coming to the Italian side was Beijing, in the 2015/16 season.

Wang has already played in Busto during the participation of the club at the 2019 Lega Volley Summer Tour, the 4×4 beach volleyball championship organized by the Italian Championship (Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile). At that time, she trained with Busto, showing to the club management that she possesses qualities on the sand, but also qualities in defense and reception that Busto might use in indoor competition. Wang’s arrival in Busto is part of a series of initiatives being finalized between the Italian team and Chinese federation.

This month, Busto also engaged Albanian opposite hitter Erblira Bici (Igor Gorgonzola Novara) and extended with the setter Maria Luisa Cumino, and middle blocker Beatrice Berti.
