TUR W: Eczacıbaşı agree on contract extension with their captain

The record Turkish women’s volleyball Championship winners Eczacıbaşı VitrA made an agreement on the contract extension with their captain Simge Aköz.

 

The contract of the libero Simge with Eczacıbaşı, which was valid until the end of the next season, has been extended for two more years.

The 29-year-old Turkey National Team libero has joined the Istanbul side in the 2016/17 season, winning the 2016 FIVB World Club Championship and 2018 CEV Cup with them, as well as the Turkish Cup once and Turkish Super Cup twice.

On an individual level, while defending the Eczacıbaşı colors, Simge was awarded  Best Libero of the 2019 FIVB World Club Championship.
