The two-time South Korean men’s volleyball Championship winners Ansan OK Savings Bank Rush & Cash found a player that will occupy the place of a foreigner in the roster for the next season.

An experienced Brazilian player Felipe Banderó is the new member of Rush & Cash, Gian Luca Pasini wrote in his blog. The 32-year-old opposite hitter came in place of Polish Michał Filip, who has been crossed out of the roster by the V-League club due to physical problems without even starting the preparations.

This will be Banderó’s fourth straight season in South Korea, all with different teams. Brazilian actually had a contract for 2020/21 before moving to Rush & Cash. He signed with Italy’s second division side BCC Castellana Grotte but the transfer wasn’t ratified by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Interestingly, Banderó took part in the V-League tryout in the offseason but hasn’t been drafted by any of the clubs.
