ITA M: Official – Adis Lagumdzija Joins Cucine Lube Civitanova

A.S. Volley Lube confirmed a two-year contract with Bosnian-born, Turkish opposite Adis Lagumdzija. Born in ’99 and towering at 211 cm, Lagumdzija, fresh from his triumph at the 2023 CEV Cup with Valsa Group Modena, is currently engaged with the Turkish national team, preparing for the Final Four of the European Golden League in Croatia.

Following an outstanding performance in the 2022/23 Regular Season, Lagumdzija emerged as the top scorer with an impressive 419 points from 22 matches.

Born in Sarajevo, Lagumdzija moved to Turkey with his family, where he started his professional journey with Galatasaray in the 2016/17 season. After standing out for three seasons with Arkas Izmir, one of Turkey’s top clubs, he made his first move to Italy in 2020, playing for Vero Volley Monza and later Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza.

During his time in Italy, Lagumdzija proved his mettle, helping his team reach the Supercoppa semi-final, closing the Regular Season as the top scorer, and earning the 2023 CEV Cup in Modena’s yellow jersey.

Having obtained Turkish citizenship in 2014, Lagumdzija has also had successful runs with the Turkish national team, clinching the silver at the European League in 2018, and the championship in 2019 and 2021 as MVP.
