Leonardo Scanferla is set to wear the MINT Vero Volley Monza jersey in the 2025/26 season. The 26-year-old libero, who has spent the last six years with Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, brings experience and ambition to the Monza squad.
A product of Kioene Padova’s youth academy, Scanferla made his SuperLega debut in 2017. He later played for Brescia in A2 before joining Piacenza in 2019, where he won the Coppa Italia in 2023. On the international stage, he debuted for Italy’s senior team in 2021 and was part of the squad that won the 2022 World Championship.
“I’m very excited about this new beginning,” said Scanferla. “Leaving Piacenza is bittersweet, but I’m eager to take on this fresh challenge in Monza.”
