Ziraat Bankkart signed veteran Dutch outside hitter Dick Kooy for the surrent season.
The Efeler League leaders said in a statement that Kooy “will fight for our team on the court this season,” welcoming the 37-year-old to the roster.
Kooy has competed for several major European clubs, including Modena, Volley Lube, ZAKSA, Dinamo Moscow, Piacenza and Trentino. He previously played in Turkey for Halkbank and Fenerbahçe.
Ziraat Bankkart announced that Kooy is expected to strengthen the squad as the team continues trophy hunt.
