The South Korean Women’s Volleyball National Team has succeeded in qualifying for the Olympics for the 3rd time in a row!

Korea didn’t let hosts Thailand take a single set in the final of the 2020 Asian Women’s Olympic Qualifier in Nakhon Ratchasima: 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20). Korea will compete in the Olympic Games for the 3rd consecutive time following the 2012 London and 2016 Rio de Janeiro.

The Thailand National Team, whose federation laid all cards on the table for possible first-ever participation in the Olympics and delayed the beginning of its own league for the qualification tournament, made 6,000 spectators at the Chatchai Hall very sad.

Korean captain Kim Yeon-Koung played a decider against Thailand despite being diagnosed with a torn abdominal muscle. She picked up the injury in the last match of the pool stage against Kazakhstan and missed out on the semifinal duel with Chinese Taipei. And not only that she played the final match, but Kim scored game-high 22 points against Thailand!

BRA W: Two Minas players nearly get into fight on time-out against Praia! (VIDEO)

Re: @Unknown
They say that its because at the tie, the hitters were just tipping the ball, instead of hitting it hard. Then Gattaz, as any captain should do, tried to raise the team up in a way i think she lost it a little bit . Then Kasi was a little too empathetic and started arguing back.
I think Gattaz was wrong in the way she spoke to her team but Kasi was also wrong. Anyway, they said that they already talked and set everyhing right! #LetsGoMinas Reply
