WCH 2018 W: Serbia down Italy to top the Pool G

by WoV

Serbia have taken the first place in Pool G, which means they will play against the second-placed team from the Pool H.

Serbia

Serbia

Serbia were at the highest possible level in the first two sets, while in the other two sets they let Italy play at a much higher level, but managed to win the game!

We saw a great battle between Paola Egonu and Tijana Boskovic. The Italian star Paola Egonu has scored 28 points while Tijana Boskovic ended the game with 27 points.

We are now waiting for the other game to be finished and depending on that result we will find out the semifinal pairs…

The third stage, Pool G:

Italy – Serbia 1-3 (21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 23-25)

Second game:

Italy – Japan 3-2 (25-20, 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-13)

First game:

Serbia – Japan 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-23)
