GRE M: PAOK contract 2012 London Olympics winner Ilinykh

The current Greek Men’s Volleyball League vice champions P.A.O.K. confirmed the arrival of a famous Russian international Dmitriy Ilinykh.

P.A.O.K. announced starting the collaboration with former Russia national team member Ilinykh.

A 32-year-old outside hitter came to the Thessaloniki team from Enisey Krasnoyarsk. Ilinykh successfully defended the colors of “Zbornaya“ knowing that he has won the 2012 London Olympics, the CEV European Championship once (2013), FIVB World League twice (2011, 2013), and FIVB World Cup once (2011). In youth categories, Ilinykh was named MVP of the 2006 CEV U21 European Championship. On a club level, he won the FIVB Club World Championship once (2015), CEV Champions League once (2014), Russian Championship twice (2005, 2013), Russian Cup three times (2005, 2013, 2014 ), and Russian Super Cup twice (2014, 2015) – all with Belogorie Belgorod.

As for other transfer activities of P.A.O.K, they renewed with middle blockers Giannis Takouridis and Tasos Gatsis, liberos Dimitris Konstantinidis and Nikitas Efremidis, setters Dmytro Filippov and Thanos Terzis, and Ukrainian head coach Yuri Filippov.

P.A.O.K. signed outside hitter Sotiris Sotiriou (Iraklis Volleyball 2015), libero Giorgos Stefanou (Olympiacos S.F.P.), and middle blocker Dimitris Charalampidis (AEK Athens).
