Andrés Villena kept turning the spotlight of the 2019/20 Dodram V-League regular season to himself. After several outstanding displays, the Spanish opposite hitter tied this season’s single-game scoring record, set by Canadian Gavin Schmitt five days ago!

Villena poured in 39 points, including 5 aces, in the win of his team Incheon Korean Air Jumbos over Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers. Ugandan Daudi Okello scored 17 points for the losing side, while Shin Yung-Suk made 5 kill blocks. This match was a repeat of the last season’s play-off finals in which the Skywalkers made a sweep. With the win, the Jumbos took the lead in the charts of the V-League with 10-3 and 26 points.
