Caltex and Pink Spiders met in the title battle again after 12 years (back then, the latter won the series by a 3-1).
Caltex stormed past their rivals, and also the reigning champions, in Game 1 of the 2020/21 Korean Women’s Dodram V-League finals: 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-17). Such an outcome favors the Seoul team as, statistically, the winning team in the first game of the playoff finals has won the championship title eight times in the last decade.
American Merete Lutz led Caltex with 24 points today, while Moon Myoung-Hwa made 4 blocks.
