Ana-Bjelica
Voleybol Magazin brought news of a huge transfer in the 2020/21 Turkish Women’s Championship. According to them, a two-time European and world champion with the Serbia National Team, Bjelica, is close to joining Nilüfer where she is projected to replace American Marie Willow Johnson.
A 28-year-old opposite hitter was to defend the colors of China’s Beijing this season. The league in this Asian country has started but Bjelica hasn’t been on their roster in any of the matches since the beginning of the season, which was mostly explained by the fact that she had to be in quarantine upon coming to the capital of China.
Last season, Bjelica wore the jersey f Brazil’s Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde. Coming to Nilüfer would be her return to the Sultanlar Ligi after four years (Salihli Bld. 2015/16).
