Serbian Women’s National Team continued their nearly perfect 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix campaign by crushing one of the most-titled sides in the history of the tournament, Russia, to reach 6-1.

Serbia and USA are constantly switching places at the top of the Group 1 rankings from the beginning of the Grand Prix and, now, it is time for the Balkan side to become the leader. In a Pool G1 clash (first round of Week 3) in Hong Kong, Serbia outclassed Russia pretty confidently, giving the chance to the rivals only in the opening set, 3-0 (26-24, 25-14, 25-19).

Milena Rašić led Serbian ladies with 18 points (six kill blocks and three aces). In Russia, who are now in a serious danger of not qualifying to the Final Six with 2-5, Ekaterina Efimova scored 10 points.
