Luciano De Cecco, the setter of an Italian men’s volleyball championship SupeLega UnipolSai team Sir Safety Conad Perugia, was one of several persons involved in a car accident at the SS75 highway.
Four cars in total, including De Cecco’s SUV, were damaged in the impact on the road section between Spello and Cannara, near the city of Perugia.
The Argentinean player sustained only minor wounds, which were caused by the airbag explosion, and was taken to the nearby hospital for an observation.
