ECH W: Croatia scored thrilling win over Bulgaria, easy job for Turkey

Croatia won a super exciting clash against Bulgaria, while Turkey had no problems in defeating Hungary...

It was definitely the most exciting game so far at EuroVolley 2015. Croatia and Bulgaria played a match which lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes!!! Eventually, Croatia won this epic battle thanks to big block for 15:13 in the tie-break.

We can say that in this case 6 players defeated 3. Just look at the STATS – In Croatian team Ivana Miloš made 18 points, Mira Topić 13, Samanta Fabris 11, Maja Poljak 10, the same as Katarina Barun, while Senna Ušić Jogunica added 9. On the other side, Bulgaria had 3 players with outstanding performance – Emiliya Nikolova made 26 points, Elitsa Vasileva 24, while Dobriana Rabadzieva 22… It was all in vain at the end.

Still both teams continue to fight for the Playoffs stage…

Turkey secured a ticked for the second stage after a win against Hungary. Neriman Ozsoy was the best player in winning side with 12 points. Turkish team will fight for the first place in the Pool tomorrow against Belgium.
