A group of French fans cheered for their team as they captured the Olympic ticket after their victory in the third set, led by Antonin Rouzier, who scored 17 points – all from the attack line. On the losing side Emerson Rodriguez scored 16 points.

Our coach Mr. Tillie called me four years ago to the national team. He said our goal was to make it to Rio. I thought that was a long time away. We started from scratch four years ago and this team sacrificed a lot, so our joy is much greater. I have to thank our coach. We have the capability to get a medal at the Olympics.” said Rouzier.

Thomas Edgars 21 points led Australia to an impressive 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 26-24) win over China , the win keeps Australia’s chance of qualifying for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games alive.
