Allegedly, the first case of Zika virus among volleyball players has been found. Jan Klobučar, a member of Slovenia’s National Team, got fever and muscle pain upon return to homeland from 2016 FIVB World League preparations in Brazil.

These symptoms are typical for Zika virus and Klobučar was the only player from the national team to complain to them.

It is yet unknown how the 23-year-old playe got infected but he was most likely bitten by a mosquito.
