„This was a great game, a high level game. Teams which play at this tournament are so close to each other by quality that is hard to expect anyone could win 3-0 in an hour, hour and a half. This kind of exhausting fight is expected. And this kind of a match brings out the best from all players,“ Grbić said after the match against Italy.
„Although we have video challenge, from my point of view, referees made too many mistakes, especially at our expense. And they were making my players so nervous. I’m not asking referees to call for my team, but I ask them not to call against it. Still, after this, the pleasure is bigger because we returned after these calls even stronger. Now it seems that referees did us a favor when they were calling at our expense, because it has woken a greater desire for us to win,“ Serbia haed coach added.
