This is no longer a rumor, this is actually happening! From the next season Russia should get a new volleyball power, which will be placed in Saint Petersburg. The new club will probably buy a place in the Superleague from Dinamo Krasnodar, who is having serious financial troubles.
But, who will play for this new club?
According to the latest rumors, the club has a plan to form a very strong roster immediately. Names such Tsvetan Sokolov (Lube), Oreol Camejo (free player), Pavel Pankov (Kuzbass Kemerovo), Evgeniy Sivozhelez (Zenit Kazan), Andrey Ashchev (Zenit Kazan) are being connected with Zenit Saint Petersburg, but we are yet to see whether any of this transfers will actually happen.
Anyway, it seems that we are going to get another super power in the volleyball world.
