VakifBank vs. Idman Ocagi
The reigning champions of Turkey opened the 7th round of the 2016/17 Regular Season with a home match against Idman Ocagi. Vakif’s head coach Giovanni Guidetti decided to rest some of his main stars like Zhu Ting, Gozde Sonsirma and Milena Rašić, who did not play in this match.
Still, even without such an important players on court, VakifBank had no troubles in scoring a straight sets win over Idman Ocagi and keeping the perfect score in the championship.
The top scorer in the winning side was Lonneke Sloetjes with 12 points.
