Latvian beach volleyball star Tina Graudina has been honored as one of her country’s flag bearers for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Graudina, a two-time European champion and Tokyo 2020 fourth-place finisher, will carry the Latvian flag alongside Nauris Miezis, a 3×3 basketball player and Tokyo 2020 gold medalist. The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 26, along the Seine river in Paris. Graudina expressed her excitement, stating, “I am very thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to carry the Latvian flag at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. I can’t wait to represent Latvia along with my teammates in what I hope will be a true celebration of friendship, sports, and excellence.”
