Colombia, USA, Cuba, and Canada Shine in Men’s Pan American Volleyball Cup

In an electrifying match, Colombia triumphed over hosts Dominican Republic 3-1 (25-18, 28-26, 25-27, 29-27) at the National Volleyball Pavilion in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Top scorers for Columbia were Andres Piza (19 points), Daniel Apoza (17), and Jharold Caicedo (16). For the Dominican Republic, Héctor Cruz led with 17 points, followed by Wilfrido Hernández with 15.

The United States defeated Chile 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-15). Brett Wildman scored 10 points, with Cooper Robinson and Gabriel García contributing 9 each. Chile’s Vicente Ibarra managed 7 points.

Cuba maintained their winning streak by sweeping Guatemala 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-20). For Cuba, José Romero scored 20 points, Thiago Suárez 14, and Jakdiel Contreras 7. Guatemala’s José Pérez scored 10 points.

Canada effortlessly beat Mexico 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-20). Jesse Elser and Jackson Howe each scored 10 points, followed by Jordan Canham (9) and Isaac Heslinga (8). Axel Tellez led Mexico with 7 points, while Jared Toy added 6.
