Brazil’s Carol Salgado and Rebecca Cavalcanti struck gold at the 2025 Beach Pro Tour Elite16 event in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Brazilian duo dominated USA’s Cannon and Kraft in the final, winning 2-0 (21-13, 21-17).
This marks their first international victory as partners, bouncing back after a ninth-place finish in Yucatán. “The energy here is amazing,” said Rebecca. “We’re proud to start our journey with a win.”
Americans Nuss and Brasher secured bronze, beating Cheng and Shaw. The tour continues in Saquarema, Brazil, from April 9–13.
