Sweden’s David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig have become 2025 Beach Volleyball World Champions, adding another major title just a year after their Olympic triumph. The 23- and 24-year-old stars defeated fellow Swedes Jacob Holting Nilsson and Elmer Andersson in a tight 2–0 (25–23, 21–19) final on Sunday in Adelaide.

The victory marks Sweden’s first-ever world title in beach volleyball and only the second time in history that one nation has supplied both teams in a men’s World Championship final.
France’s Teo Rotar and Arnaud Gauthier-Rat claimed bronze earlier in the day.
