Are you satisfied with your performances in 2013?

I am satisfied with my performances in 2013. Of course, there were some goals that I didn’t reach, but it’s important that I tried hard and did my best.”

You are currently playing in Al Wehda in Saudi Arabia. So, how’s it going there?

It’s going good. Saudi Arabia is a peaceful Arabic country and I am living in Jeddah which is a really nice city on the coast of Red Sea. People here are very nice, weather is amazing, 30 and more, and we won 3 out of 3, so I really can’t complain about anything so far.”

What do you think about volleyball in Saudi Arabia?

Volleyball in Saudi Arabia is not on the highest level. So they bring professional players from other countries to raise the level and help the teams. But only one foreigner per team is allowed. It’s the same game, just different challenge.”

Are you planning to come back in Europe?

The league here lasts longer, and so I am planning to come in Europe in the beginning of June.

How did you spend your new year’s eve?

In Saudi Arabia, they don’t celebrate Gregorian New Year, also the weather here doesn’t really help the Christmas and NY spirit. But anyway, I had a nice time. During the day I was relaxing on the best beach I have ever been so far, and in the evening we went out for a nice dinner with our scout.”

What are your wishes for 2014?

“I wish that my family and I will be healthy. This is the most important.”

Do you have any message for volleyball fans all over the world?

The same I wish for volleyball fans all over the world! Be healthy, live healthy, play volleyball, enjoy it and support your team and players.”

What do you think about our website, The WorldofVolley?

I have to say thank you WoV for great job you are doing for us who love volleyball! It’s handy to get all kind of information from volleyball world. Wish you all the best!”
