You are on the right way to take your first world title. Who stands on the way to that success? Who is the biggest threat?
“We want to win this World Championship so much, you know it’s my fourth, and we are not afraid of anyone. We will do everything to lift the trophy.”
Are you already preparing for the Olympic Games in Rio?
“Yes, it will be my third Olympic Games and I expect that I will finish my career in the national team as the triple Olympic champion. But we will go step by step; we have two more years until that.”
Brazilians are crazy about volleyball and for sure they will sell out all tickets for the Olympic Games 2016. Will they put pressure on you?
“Brazilians are so fanatic about soccer and volleyball and these Olympic Games will be very important for all of us. In Brazil, we always have a lot of pressure. Brazilians always want gold, if you do not win it, then it’s not good. Only the gold icounts as success.”
After amazing season in Molico Osasco, you returned in Europe. In the next season you will play in Vakifbank…
“I’m very happy because I will go to Turkey and to play for Vakifbank. I think that our team has a lot of good players and I expect to win Champions League, Turkish League, Cup… everything.” said Sheilla exclusive for WorldofVolley in Milano.
