“In my opinion, I do not see any competition for us. We should win this championship. All of the players in the Russian national team have played important games both at the international and the club level,” says former head coach of “Zbornaya” national team.
Also, he confirmed that he has no intention of joining the national team of Russia in the upcoming year.
“I do not need to go there. Coach Sergey Shlyapnikov is doing very well and achieving the expected results. Let’s keep it that way,” says Alekno.
