Let’s start with the club level. With Zenit Kazan, he won the CEV Champions League, the Russian Championship, Russian national Cup and Russian Super Cup.
In total, he won five gold medals in 2018. That’s a pretty good score for the U.S. outside hitter.
At the national team level, he didn’t stay empty-handed. At the World Championship 2018, he won the bronze medal with the U.S. team. Also, he won one more bronze medal in the Volleyball Nations League.
When we sum all these medals, he won five gold medals and two bronze medals. Matt Anderson had a pretty good year!
