Korea coach Park Kiwon: “There were so many mistakes but I think we played better today than yesterday (June 5). We had a big problem with reception but that is fine, it shows us that we still have work on it a lot.”
Czech Republic coach Zdenek Smejkal: “We were not very active in first three sets, maybe my guys were a little bit tired. After we changed our mentality in the game, that was when we turned around the match. We started strongly, courageously and we succeeded in the middle. That was the deciding moment. I must emphasise that Petr Michalek kept our team’s foundation strong.”
Ales Holubec: “I do not know if it backfired on us but in the first set we overwhelmed the Koreans. This match was even harder for us but I think that with the first set loss, we functioned better in defence than our opponents did. Maybe it was about our service and the support of our amazing fans.”
