Tuesday night summary, Lube owes a lot to Tirol

The group stage is over and we know the names of 13 teams which will continue to play in the CEV Champions League!

The last last Playoffs ticket went Lube, thanks to win of Tirol Innsbruck over Precura Antwerpen.

But, let us start with the seven 1st placed teams. Those are – Tomis Constanta, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Asseco Resovia, Zenit Kazan, Belogorie Belgorod, PGE Skra Belchatow and Perugia!.

Then, the six best 2nd placed teams are – Piacenza, Jastrzebski, BR Volleys, Friedrichshafen, Lube and HalkBank.

As BR Volleys and Zenit applied for the organization of the Final Four, one of those two teams will skip the Playoffs and advance directly to the semifinal.

The draw for the Playoffs will be held on Thursday, January 29, while the first games are scheduled for February 11. 

Precura Antwerpen will go into the CEV Cup as the last 2nd placed team, together with Fenerbahce, Knack Roeselare and CAI Teruel, three best 3rd placed teams. They will play in the Challenge round (quarterfinal) together with Dinamo Moscow, Trentino, Zaksa and AsseLenik.
