On the second day of the tournament, Rwanda beat Nigeria 3-0 for the top of Pool A, while in Group B Cameroon achieved second victory by defeating Tunisia 3-0 and Kenya defeated DR Congo 3-0. Cameroon still holds the top of Pool B and Kenya is in second place.
The 2021 African Nations Women’s Championship is the 20th edition of this event, and the tournament is also played in Kigali, Rwanda as well as the men’s championship.
The teams are divided into 2 pools. Rwanda, Senegal, Morocco and Nigeria are in Pool A, while Cameroon, Kenya (9 titles of African champions), Tunisia, DR Congo and Burundi are drawn in Pool B.
