Match of the Pool A between Rwanda and Senegal was suspended. Reasons are still not officially announced but unofficially we find out that the match was suspended due to a possible violation of the rules on changing sports nationality for several Rwanda players. Obtaining and changing a country passport is not enough, because when changing a sports nationality/passport, the FIVB determined the whole procedure, which must also receive final confirmation and approval from the highest body in world volleyball – FIVB. Rwanda is among the teams that have already advanced to the semi-finals with two wins from Pool A, but we have to wait for the official reason for this suspension of the match and the final decision.
