Julio Velasco, Argentina coach:
“Both teams had their moments in the match. In the final track, France had the most important moments and that was vital. I’ve been saying that Argentina has to improve on reception, serve and attack. Tonight we received well, we also served well in some moments, but the main difference was on the attack. We need to change the whole concept on the attack; this is a problem that remains from previous years on the team.”
Laurent Tillie, France coach:
“We’re very satisfied about the result. It was a bit of a surprise, because the match wasn’t good for us, maybe they felt the pressure in the end. For the first time we were better in blocking, and that’s another surprise.”
