IRN M: These foreign players will take part in Iranian Super League in 2016/17 (LIST)

Most likely, before the league sets off, more foreign and domestic players will join Super League teams. For instance, 2 players, from Cuba and Vietnam, will come to Havash Gonbad on tryout. In case they satisfy club management, they will sign contracts. Moreover, the Vietnamese guy would be the first player from East Asia in the Iranian Championship.

The progress and high level of Iranian volleyball in various FIVB tournaments during the past decade has been attracting many foreign players to play in the Super League. Signings of internationals by Iranian clubs has a history of around 20 years. In recent years, clubs have been employing more and more capable players from abroad who were, at least, in the same high level as local players. Some of them even had even higher quality than Iranian players which brought expansion to Iranian volleyball.
