Praia-vs-Osasco
The vice-champions Praia put a defeat in the final of the 2020 South American Club Championship behind them and played the big match of Round 20 of the 2019/20 Superliga Feminina regular season against Osasco on a high level: 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-17). Ana Carolina Silva “Carol” led the winning side with 14 points, including as many as 9 kill blocks! With the triumph, Praia reached 53 points, two more than the vice-leaders Itambé/Minas. This was the 12th straight win of Praia in the Superliga, the 18th in 19 games played. Osasco remained fourth with 38 points.
Speaking of the titleholders Minas, they beat Sesi Vôlei Bauru in four sets and recorded 12th successive victory overall, the 8th successive in Superliga.
