Sesi Bauru turned around the big match of Round 4 against Barueri twice and remained undefeated in the 2020/21 Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season for women: 3-2 (23-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 15-11).
Azerbaijani Polina Rahimova top-scored the winning side with 21 points, while Dominican Brenda Castillo made 87 % reception (39 % excellent). Karina Barbosa tallied 16 points for Barueri. Lorena Viezel set up 5 blocks, while Nyeme Costa had 83 % reception (53 % excellent).
It was the fourth victory in as many games of Sesi Bauru, which now share 100% effectiveness in the competition with four more teams of which three played this round and achieved a straight-set win each: Dentil/Praia Clube, Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, and Itambé/Minas.
