The last-placed Pacaembu Ribeirão pushed Vôlei Renata (a.k.a. Campinas) to the limits in Round 13 of the 2020/21 Brazilian Men’s Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season. They managed to earn a tie-break but Vôlei Renata ran them over in the decisive set with 15-5 and left them winless (0-12).

Thus, Horácio Dileo’s team collected the sixth consecutive victory in the competition – to which they were led by Bruno Temponi (19 points) and Michel Saraiva (10 blocks) – and reached 11-2 and 31 points. Vôlei Renata lag 2 points behind vice-leaders EMS Taubaté Funvic.

Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei extended their winning streak to as many as 10 games. Thanks to 17 points (6 aces) of Argentine Facundo Conte, the Contagem club swept Caramuru Vôlei by a 3-0.

Minas Tênis Clube beat Vôlei UM Itapetininga in the tie-break and remained in the top four in the standings. The Cuban international Yadrian Escobar was the top scorer on the Belo Horizonte side with 21 points.
