Gabi was better than Sheilla, Jaqueline and many other experienced players. The weight of inexperience was no problem for Gabi.
“I trembled before the game started, but it passed quickly. After kickoff, no matter who is on the other side. I’m played without fear” said Gabriela.
All players of Rio are delighted to the talent of Gabi, as well as the coach Bernardinho. The head of the team was full of praise to the young player. “Gabriela played like veteran on the court, even against some of the best players in the world” said Bernardinho.
“It was a big pressure, of course. I started badly in the first two sets, with many errors, but the girls talked to me and also coach Bernardo. I did not help much in attack but I defended many balls. I’m realizing a dream. I’m happy to be Superliga champion“ said the player.
